Εκ μέρους του Καθηγητού κ. Hein Van Poppel, μας εστάλη η κάτωθι ενημέρωση από τον Ευρωπαϊκό Συνασπισμό κατά του Καρκίνου Προστάτη Europa Uomo.
H επιστολή περιέχει ερωτηματολόγιο (here) σχετικά με την ποιότητα ζωής του ανδρικού πληθυσμού που βιώνει το πρόβλημα του Καρκίνου Προστάτη, ενώ μπορεί να συμπληρωθεί και από ασθενείς σας.
Ταυτόχρονα, περιέχει σχετικό, πληροφοριακό υλικό, τόσο για την ενημέρωση των ασθενών σας, όσο και για πιθανή ανάρτηση στα social media που διαθέτετε.
 
Η συμπλήρωσή του είναι προαιρετική.

Dear colleagues, dear friends,
On behalf of André Deschamps, chair of Europa Uomo, I hereby would like to kindly ask you for your participation in the following.
 
For the second time, Europa Uomo, the prostate cancer coalition, has launched its quality-of-life survey EUPROMS 2.0.
The first survey in 2019 resulted in a valuable dataset, multiple presentations and publications. It has revealed the real burden and quality of life issues after a treatment for prostate cancer. The results of the survey can be found here. As always during the analysis of the data more questions were raised so it was decided to develop a second survey.
 
As it is vital to understand the challenges of living with prostate cancer and find ways to improve the quality of life of the patients and their families, we would like to call upon our friendship to help distribute this survey to as many patients as possible. The survey can be found here. The EUPROMS 2.0 survey is open till December 23, 2021, and is available in 19 languages. A range of materials in different languages are available to help publicise the survey to men with prostate cancer, including a downloadable flyer to distribute online or to print and hand out, and social media tiles for Twitter and Facebook. Australia and the USA have already committed to help distribute the survey and it would be great if you could do the same in your country! Please find enclosed a letter from André Deschamps with more information and where to find these materials.
